Where to begin, well James left for his year long deployment July 29,2010. I can tell Ian already misses him, he has been getting angry and bossy lately. This deployment already seems endless to me so I don't what I am going to do in a few months when it really sinks in. I haven't spoken to James in about 3 days so I'm not sure where he is right now or what he's doing. Sitting and waiting really sucks, yes I can find things to busy myself but nothing keeps me busy enough to not think about him.

I am going to try to keep this blog as up to date as I can with where James is and what he is doing. It will be a good reference for people to go back to. This will be an easier way to keep everyone in the loop.

My guess is James made it to Kandahar, Afghanistan which is why I haven't heard from him. His computer is also being shipped to him so he should be receiving in the next week or so.

WOW

So I realized I haven't updated the blog in a really long time. We now currently live in California where we bought a house. James is living in Colorado where he is stationed because he deploys in July to Afghanistan(subject to change whenever the army decides) he will be there a year. He will get a month vacation before he leaves and I cant be happier. Ian and I are driving to Colorado in a few days for a week or so to visit.
As for life in California it's different then I imagined I love being neat family but I miss my husband. He is my other half and it's weird to know that he is leaving out of the country. Ian and I are going to miss him so much.
Ian is going to be four in August and I am so excited I cant believe how big he is. I think I need to start looking for a preschool for him.

So we have alot going on this month. Trying to down size the house, pack, look into housing and a possible deployment coming up. So much to do and time keeps flying by. I have a free moment so thought I would try to update everyone. We will be in california for about two weeks at the end of feb then its colorado. Thats all we know for now.

Ian made a potato head and said it's me...

Hey All,

I can't believe it's been so long since my last posting. I can't think of anything really exciting that happened in Sept. I know we will have some exciting news at the end of the month but I'm going to wait to let everyone know that.

Ian is going to be a pirate this Halloween I will take lots of pictures. Oh and this Saturday we are getting our pictures done by a photographer I am super excited and will post them as soon as I get them.

I will try to keep up a little more on this blog I feel like a slacker but that's life. Anyways until we post again.

James left for Ranger School today, he will be gone until Nov. 14. They only give them a few calls during the whole school so he is going to call me and I will post the updates here. He is allowed to receive letters not sure how much time he is going to get to actually read them but it is a plus. He will only be in one spot for about 20 days so if you want his address let me know and I will give it to him. Only send letters no pictures or anything like that.
Ian is turning 3 on monday I can't believe how big he is getting. He will be celebrating with all his classmates which he is thrilled about.
Well that's about it for the moment I will be posting more pictures soon.

July/ August

Hey Everyone,

So here's the latest, my sister was here for the last week of July/ first week of August. We went to the beach for my birthday but we forgot the camera. Better luck next time I guess. I am now 22 still unsure how I feel about that but whatever. Ian's birthday is right around the corner August 31st he will be 3 which is still unbelievable to me. James is still trying to go to Ranger School, he is on the waiting list for that. If everything goes as planned he will be leaving August 28th for three months so wish him luck. Ian and I are sure going to miss him.
I am at home with strep throat trying to rest the only problem is daytime tv really sucks, maybe I will get some school work done.
Ian will be getting his pictures taken when he turns three I will make sure to post those as well as mail them out to you all.
